RPM Foodservice was formed in April of 2014. Co-Founders Mike Redner & Rick Payk were both working for a foodservice broker in Michigan before deciding to set out on their own. Mike & Rick have a combined experience of over 65 years in the Michigan foodservice market, accumulating the knowledge & connections only decades of work in the field can produce. They have a strong passion for the job & always strive for the best possible relationships with both principals & customers.

The plan for RPM Foodservice is to remain a Michigan company that serves Michigan customers with quality products from the top suppliers in the industry. We want to offer professional representation to the principals that may be under represented by their current broker, or that want to be represented by a focused broker that is concentrated on serving accounts in Michigan.

We do not believe that representing 80 to 100 or more principals offer the kind of focus that most principals are looking for, nor does it make sense. You can’t focus on anything with a scattergun approach.

Also on the RPM Team are Roger Ditmar & Bud Kloosterman. Roger is what you call an “old school” Chef. He thinks that doing things right the first time saves time & money for all concerned. He works with his accounts with the attitude that he is there to help them not just to sell them. Bud has been a constant in the Michigan Market for over 50 years & his knowledge & experience are invaluable to the team. Bud’s idea of customer service has a long history that has served him well through the year & continues on today.
